The JUKI JM-20 is a multi task odd-form insertion machine designed for larger boards, heavier components, and high-mix electronics production. It can support automatic insertion, SMT placement, and manual insertion line connection in one flexible platform. Compared with smaller models, JM-20 is better for large components, large PCBs, connectors, radial parts, axial parts, tray parts, stick parts, and bulk components. It supports PCB sizes up to 410×560 mm with single clamp and 800×560 mm with double clamp. The machine uses laser recognition and vision recognition to check component body position and lead tips before insertion, helping improve insertion accuracy and production stability.
| Product Features

The JUKI JM-20 supports a wide range of feeder options for different odd-form components. It can work with radial feeders, axial feeders, tape feeders, stick feeders, tray holders, matrix tray servers, bowl feeders, and customized feeders. This makes it suitable for factories that produce many product types on the same DIP or mixed assembly line. Components such as aluminum electrolytic capacitors, connectors, coils, relays, transformers, large automotive parts, PCI connectors, and DIMM connectors can be handled based on actual project requirements. This feeder flexibility helps reduce manual insertion work and gives Customers more freedom when building a THT automation process.

JM-20 uses a laser sensor to measure components while they rotate 360 degrees. The system can check the component outline, position, angle, and lead tips without sending the part to a separate camera position. This saves time and supports more accurate insertion. The machine also supports DFFP vision recognition, which can precisely recognize lead tips for complex components. This is useful for parts with special shapes or long connectors, such as DIMM, PCI, and large automotive components. By checking both the component body and lead position, the machine helps reduce insertion errors and improve process reliability.

For radial tape aluminum capacitors, the Lead 90° Bend function can cut and form the lead into a 90-degree shape before insertion. This helps reduce manual labor and keeps lead forming more consistent. JM-20 can also use the Lead Correction Unit to correct leads that are outside tolerance before insertion. If a lead is bent or not aligned well, the correction unit helps bring it back into a usable position. This is important for reducing wasted components and avoiding insertion problems. For production teams, these functions help make odd-form insertion more stable and less dependent on manual adjustment.

| DIP Line Equipment List

I.C.T can integrate the JUKI JM-20 into a complete DIP production line based on the Customer’s product type, PCB size, component list, and capacity target. Related equipment includes manual insertion lines, automatic insertion machines, odd-form insertion machines, wave soldering machines, selective soldering machines, DIP AOI, soldering robots, PCB conveyors, loaders, unloaders, and repair stations. In a typical THT line, JM-20 is used to automate the insertion of parts that are difficult or slow to insert by hand. After insertion, the PCB can move to wave soldering, cooling, inspection, repair, and final testing. I.C.T helps Customers plan the full process, not just one machine.

| Customer Success Video
I.C.T supported a Customer in Uzbekistan to build a large electronics manufacturing factory for computer motherboards, SSD products, and memory-related products. The project included both SMT and DIP production lines. The SMT line used the I.C.T-5151 stencil printer, four SMT pick and place machines, Lyra series reflow ovens, SPI, AOI, and PCB handling systems. The DIP line included a manual insertion line, JUKI odd-form insertion machine, I.C.T-Acrab350 wave soldering machine, and conveyor systems. I.C.T engineers helped with project planning, machine installation, line connection, debugging, production testing, and operator training. After testing, the Customer gave positive feedback on I.C.T service, fast response, machine quality, and production support.
| Comprehensive Service Support
I.C.T supports Customers from early project planning to real production. Before shipment, our team checks the machine configuration, line layout, feeder plan, PCB flow, electrical connection, air supply, packaging condition, and full DIP line matching. During onsite service, I.C.T engineers help connect the JUKI JM-20 with upstream and downstream machines, including insertion lines, conveyors, wave soldering machines, AOI, and repair stations. Training covers basic operation, feeder use, component changeover, program preparation, recognition checking, insertion testing, daily maintenance, and common troubleshooting. For Customers using odd-form insertion for the first time, this support helps operators understand the process faster and reduce setup mistakes during production.

| What Clients Say
Customers often praise I.C.T engineers for clear training, careful installation, and fast response during overseas projects. They also give good feedback on the practical line layout, stable equipment operation, and complete technical support. For machines such as JUKI JM-20, correct feeder setup and insertion testing are very important, so Customers value hands-on training from experienced engineers. I.C.T also uses strong export packaging to protect equipment during long-distance shipping. When Customers have questions about line connection, machine operation, production testing, or maintenance, our team follows up quickly until the issue is solved.
