In November 2025, I.C.T completed the delivery and on-site commissioning of one SMT production line and one DIP production line in Uzbekistan. This project forms part of I.C.T`s ongoing global series of overseas technical support cases, following previous successful implementations in Europe, Central Asia and emerging electronics manufacturing markets.
The customer specialises in PC motherboard assembly, a product category that requires a stable combination of high-density SMT processes and reliable through-hole soldering.
The customer is a local electronics manufacturer focused on computer motherboard production for regional markets. Their PCB designs involve:
High component density on the SMT side
A mix of fine-pitch ICs, connectors and discrete components
Through-hole parts that require consistent wave soldering quality
Rather than purchasing isolated machines, the customer required a complete and coordinated SMT + DIP solution that could support both current production and future expansion.
After reviewing the customer`s PCB layouts, BOM structure and expected capacity, I.C.T proposed a customised two-line configuration, designed specifically around real production needs.

The SMT line was configured to support stable, repeatable motherboard assembly, covering the full SMT process flow:
PCB unloader and buffering equipment
This configuration ensures accurate component placement, controlled soldering profiles and effective quality inspection throughout the SMT process.

To complement the SMT line, I.C.T delivered a matching DIP line designed for efficient through-hole processing:
Post-solder inspection and rework stations
The DIP line was laid out to ensure smooth material flow from SMT to through-hole assembly, reducing handling time and improving overall line efficiency.
In November 2025, I.C.T engineer travelled to Uzbekistan to provide full on-site installation and training services.
The technical support scope included:
Mechanical installation and line alignment
Electrical connection and safety verification
Equipment commissioning and process parameter setup
Debugging based on actual PC motherboard products
Training was delivered directly on the production floor and covered:
SMT and DIP process fundamentals
Daily machine operation and line start-up procedures
Basic maintenance and troubleshooting
Process control and quality awareness for motherboard assembly
This hands-on approach allowed the customer`s operators and engineers to gain practical experience using their own products and equipment.
Following installation and training, I.C.T engineers supported the customer during trial production.
Key activities included:
First-article verification
Fine-tuning of printing, placement and soldering parameters
Line balance adjustment
Operator confirmation for independent operation
Once stable production conditions were achieved, the SMT and DIP lines were formally handed over to the customer.
This Uzbekistan project demonstrates I.C.T`s capability to deliver custom SMT and DIP production lines with full overseas technical support.
