I.C.T has successfully delivered and commissioned a complete SMT and DIP production line for a customer in Malaysia, supporting their local manufacturing upgrade. Following the equipment delivery, I.C.T engineers travelled to the customer’s factory in Malaysia to provide on-site installation, commissioning and hands-on technical training, ensuring the production line could be put into stable operation efficiently.
This project once again demonstrates I.C.T’s ability to provide reliable overseas technical support and turnkey electronics manufacturing solutions for international customers.

The customer is the Malaysian subsidiary of a large international industrial group, with its regional headquarters located in Kuala Lumpur. As a professional indus trial machinery trading company, it specialises in the sales, integration, and after-sales service of industrial equipment and systems. Its business scope covers factory automation solutions, electronics manufacturing equipment, factory energy systems, as well as production equipment for the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
Relying on the strong global network and regional support of its parent company, the customer provides one-stop solutions ranging from equipment selection and global sourcing to on-site installation and long-term maintenance. In this project, the customer planned to expand its electronics manufacturing capability for household and industrial fan controller PCBs, requiring a stable SMT and DIP production solution with good process compatibility and future scalability.
Based on the customer’s product characteristics and production targets, I.C.T proposed a complete SMT and DIP production line configuration tailored for fan control board manufacturing.
The SMT line includes advanced reflow soldering solutions, featuring T series and Lyra series reflow ovens, combined with standard and cooling conveyors to ensure smooth PCB transfer and stable soldering quality. Auxiliary equipment such as a vacuum PCB loader and a PCB flipper was integrated to improve handling efficiency and support double-sided assembly requirements.
In addition, a dedicated DIP production line was supplied, including a manual insertion line, wave soldering loader, wave soldering machine, and wave soldering unloader. To support specific process needs, desktop dispensing equipment and transformer-related auxiliary devices were also provided, ensuring full coverage from SMT assembly to through-hole soldering.

After arriving at the customer’s factory, I.C.T engineers first conducted a detailed site inspection to confirm equipment layout, power supply, compressed air, and safety conditions. The installation process was then carried out step by step, including mechanical positioning, electrical wiring, and system interconnection for both the SMT and DIP lines.
Once installation was completed, the engineers performed equipment calibration and process parameter setup according to the customer’s PCB specifications. Trial production runs were arranged to verify placement accuracy, soldering quality, and overall line stability.
During the training phase, I.C.T engineers provided systematic instruction to the customer’s engineering and production teams. Training covered daily operation, basic maintenance, process adjustment, and common troubleshooting methods. Practical demonstrations and hands-on guidance ensured that local engineers could independently operate and maintain the production lines with confidence.
With close cooperation between both teams, the SMT and DIP production lines were successfully commissioned, and the training programme was completed as planned. The customer confirmed that the equipment performance met production requirements and that their engineering team had fully mastered the operation and maintenance procedures.
