I.C.T has successfully delivered a complete SMT production line and related equipment to a customer in Uzbekistan, supporting their automotive PCBA manufacturing operations. Following the equipment delivery, our engineering team travelled to the customer’s factory to provide on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training, ensuring the production line could be put into stable operation efficiently.
This project reflects I.C.T’s ability to provide practical SMT solutions and reliable overseas technical support, even under space-limited factory conditions.
See how I.C.T engineers supported the SMT line installation on site in Uzbekistan.
The customer is a local electronics manufacturer focused on automotive PCBA production, where product reliability and process stability are critical. Due to the limited factory space, the customer required a compact yet fully functional SMT line that could meet current production needs while leaving room for future optimisation.
Based on the customer’s product mix, production targets and workshop layout, I.C.T designed a customised SMT solution that balanced automation, quality control, and space efficiency. The line configuration covered solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, AOI inspection, PCB handling and auxiliary processes, forming a complete and practical SMT production system.
In December 2025, I.C.T dispatched experienced engineers to the customer’s site in Uzbekistan to carry out technical support services. After arriving at the factory, the engineers first reviewed the workshop layout and confirmed equipment positioning according to the approved layout plan.
The installation work was carried out step by step, covering key equipment such as the PCB loader and unloader, automatic stencil printer, pick-and-place machine, reflow oven, AOI system, conveyors, and supporting units. Each machine was installed, levelled, powered on and tested individually before being integrated into the full production line.
After mechanical and electrical installation, the engineers performed system commissioning to ensure smooth PCB transfer, correct process flow, and stable communication between machines.
Once installation and commissioning were completed, I.C.T engineers provided structured training to the customer’s engineering and production teams. The training focused on practical operation and daily use, rather than theory alone.
Operators were trained on machine start-up and shutdown procedures, basic parameter settings, product changeover, and safe operation. For key equipment such as the pick-and-place machine, reflow oven, and AOI system, the training also covered basic troubleshooting and routine checks.
In addition, maintenance-related guidance was provided for selected equipment, helping the customer’s team understand daily inspection points and simple upkeep tasks to ensure long-term stable operation.
After training, I.C.T engineers assisted the customer during trial production. The first PCBA samples were produced under real production conditions, allowing process parameters to be fine-tuned according to actual product requirements. The line demonstrated stable operation, smooth workflow, and reliable inspection results, meeting the customer’s expectations for automotive PCBA manufacturing.
With installation, training, and trial production successfully completed, the SMT line was formally handed over to the customer. This project once again demonstrates I.C.T’s commitment to delivering not only equipment, but also complete technical support and practical manufacturing solutions for global customers.
