I.C.T has successfully delivered one complete SMT production line and one DIP production line to a customer in Uzbekistan, supporting the local manufacturing of computer motherboards.
Following the equipment delivery, I.C.T engineers travelled to the customer’s factory to provide on-site installation, commissioning, and technical training, ensuring the production lines could be put into stable operation as planned.
This project once again reflects I.C.T’s ability to provide not only equipment, but also reliable overseas technical support for electronics manufacturing factories.
The customer is an electronics manufacturer based in Uzbekistan, focusing on the production of computer mainboards for the local and regional market. To improve production efficiency and product consistency, the customer decided to invest in a complete SMT and DIP production solution rather than individual machines.
Based on the customer’s product structure, PCB size, component types, and expected production volume, I.C.T proposed an integrated solution combining an SMT line for surface mount assembly and a DIP line for through-hole processes. The goal was to build a balanced, practical production system suitable for long-term operation and future expansion.
For the SMT section, I.C.T supplied a full SMT production line covering solder paste printing I.C.T-5151, 4 sets SMT component placements, I.C.T-Lyra series reflow soldering oven, AOI & SPI inspection machine and PCB handling machines. The configuration was selected to match the customer’s motherboard design and production rhythm, ensuring stable mounting accuracy and smooth line flow.
For the DIP section, I.C.T provided a complete DIP production line including manual inseriong line, JUKI Odd-form insertion machine, wave soldering equipment I.C.T-Acrab350, and conveyor systems. This setup allows efficient handling of through-hole components while maintaining consistent soldering quality for mass production.
Both lines were designed to work independently while remaining fully compatible within the same factory layout.
After the equipment arrived at the factory, I.C.T engineers began on-site technical support according to the standard service process. The work started with machine positioning, mechanical installation, and power and air connections, followed by system checks and safety confirmation.
Once installation was completed, the engineers carried out machine commissioning, process parameter setting, and trial production using the customer’s actual PCB boards. During this stage, potential issues were identified and adjusted to ensure stable operation.
At the same time, I.C.T engineers provided hands-on training for the customer’s engineering and production teams. The training covered machine operation, daily maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and process control, helping the customer build internal technical capability for long-term production.
After installation, testing, and training were completed, both the SMT and DIP production lines ran smoothly and met the customer’s production requirements. The customer’s team was able to operate the equipment independently and confidently.
This project in Uzbekistan demonstrates I.C.T’s commitment to supporting customers beyond equipment delivery. By combining customised production solutions with professional overseas technical service, I.C.T helps electronics manufacturers build stable and reliable production lines worldwide.
For manufacturers planning to build or upgrade SMT and DIP production lines, reliable on-site technical support is just as important as the equipment itself.
I.C.T continues to support customers worldwide with practical solutions and hands-on engineering services, helping factories achieve stable and sustainable production.
