The SMD X Ray Counter automates component counting for SMD reels used in pick and place production lines. AI-assisted X-ray imaging ensures ultra-small components, including 0201 and 01005, are detected and counted with maximum precision. Multi-tray design enables simultaneous processing of several reels, improving throughput and reducing manual intervention. Optional barcode and printer modules integrate with MES or ERP systems for traceable inventory. Automating counting reduces human error, maintains continuous material flow, and ensures consistent PCB assembly across high-volume SMT operations.

AI-Assisted X-Ray Detection

The counter uses X-ray imaging combined with AI algorithms to detect and count all SMD components accurately. Real-time analysis prevents miscounts, ensures reliable feeding to pick and place machines, and maintains stable production output.

Multi-Tray Simultaneous Counting

Four trays operate concurrently, allowing multiple reels to be counted at once. Adjustable tray spacing accommodates various reel sizes and batch quantities, reducing manual handling and improving throughput for high-volume SMT lines.

Forward and Reverse Counting

The system supports forward and reverse counting for flexible reel management during reloading or repositioning. Accurate inventory is maintained, errors are minimized, and continuous production flow is preserved across multiple pick and place lines.

Adjustable Speed and Integration

Apply the AI-optimized counting algorithm to realize spot inspection of various materials: standard SMD, dicing tape, JEDEC/Matrix tray, MELF, Aluminum Caps, Soic, To, BGA/CPU, Tantal, filter and other parts. Four material pallets can be counted at the same time, and it only takes 8 seconds to complete, which shortens the counting time of parts pallets, automatically uploads data to the cloud, regularly updates the database, and links with the factory ERP/MES system, greatly saving time and cost. Easy to manage.
