I.C.T Commissions Flexible LED Strip SMT Line in Italy

I.C.T has completed delivery and on-site commissioning of a new SMT production line for flexible LED strip manufacturing at an LED lighting factory in Italy. The line is now running in daily production and is operated entirely by the customer's own team.

Built around I.C.T's cost-effective, high-speed SMT PCB assembly production line, the installation covers the complete assembly process. An automatic solder paste printer, a pick and place machine and a vacuum reflow oven handle the SMT side, while loaders, unloaders and conveyors keep boards moving between stations. Dedicated LED strip equipment — a separator, a reeling machine and a testing machine — completes the back end, with the vacuum reflow oven helping to limit solder voids on densely populated strips.

I.C.T engineer Max spent just over two weeks on site, installing the machines, running the line through commissioning and training the customer's operators. The line was handed over in full production, and the customer now runs it independently.

From layout design and equipment delivery to installation, training and after-sales support, the project reflects how I.C.T works with LED manufacturers: a turnkey line, not a standalone machine.
