What is an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)?

  • Packaging: Use ESD-safe packaging materials for the storage and transportation of sensitive electronic components. This prevents the occurrence of ESD during handling and shipping.

Some widely adopted standards include the ANSI/ESD S20.20 for Electrostatic Discharge Control Programs, IEC 61340 series for Electrostatics, and the MIL-STD-883E for Microelectronics.
