Today, I.C.T engineer carried out internal testing and process verification for the X-ray inspection machine in our factory. As electronic products become smaller, denser, and more complex, many solder joints and hidden defects can no longer be checked only by visual inspection. For PCBA production, especially boards with BGA, QFN, IC, connector, shielding cover, and high-density components, X-ray inspection plays an important role in quality control. Before delivery or customer use, I.C.T performs machine testing to confirm that the SMT X-ray Machine can provide clear imaging, stable movement, and accurate inspection performance for real production needs.
During the testing process, the engineer operated the X-7100 X-ray inspector and checked the complete workflow from machine startup, safety protection, image capture, PCB positioning, software operation, and inspection result display. The PCB image on the screen was carefully reviewed to confirm whether solder joints, component pins, internal connections, voids, bridges, and hidden defects could be shown clearly. At the same time, the engineer tested the movement of the inspection platform, the response of the control system, and the stability of the image processing software. Small adjustments were made when needed, including image brightness, contrast, inspection angle, and operation settings. These details may look small, but in real SMT production, they directly affect inspection accuracy and operator efficiency. No one wants a “looks fine” result when the hidden solder joint is quietly saying: check me again.
For I.C.T, equipment testing is not only a factory procedure, but also a promise of responsibility before the machine reaches the customer’s production line. A reliable SMTX-ray Machine helps manufacturers find hidden soldering problems earlier, reduce repair risks, and improve the stability of finished PCBA products. I.C.T will continue to strengthen internal quality checks, equipment debugging, and technical support, so customers can use our SMT inspection equipment with more confidence. From single inspection machines to full SMT, DIP, and coating production line solutions, I.C.T aims to help global electronics manufacturers build more stable, efficient, and controllable production systems.
