I.C.T Engineer Arrives in Algeria To Support SMT Line Installation

I.C.T is pleased to share the latest progress from our customer’s SMT production project in Algeria. All SMT equipment has now arrived safely at the customer’s factory and has been arranged into a complete SMT production line. This marks an important step forward as the project moves from equipment delivery to on-site installation, adjustment, and production preparation.

Our engineer Tony has already arrived in Algeria and has started providing professional on-site installation support. During this stage, his main work includes checking the equipment layout, confirming the connection between each machine, and giving practical suggestions for power, air, and other utility preparations. These details are very important for ensuring that the full SMT line can operate smoothly and safely after installation.

In addition to basic installation guidance, Tony is also working on machine adjustment and process coordination. For a complete SMT line, each machine must not only run well individually, but also match properly with the next process. This includes communication between machines, conveyor transfer settings, program adjustment, board flow direction, and production rhythm. A well-adjusted line can help reduce unnecessary stops and support more stable production once mass production begins.

For customers building or upgrading an SMT factory, on-site engineering support is a key part of project success. I.C.T does not simply deliver machines; we help customers turn equipment into a working production system. From layout checking to machine commissioning, from utility recommendations to operator training, our engineering team works closely with customers to make sure every step is practical and production-oriented.

According to the current project schedule, the Algeria SMT line is expected to need around 10 more days of installation and adjustment before producing the customer’s first board. This will be another exciting milestone for the customer’s factory and for I.C.T’s global service team.
