In September 2025, the valued customer from Uzbekistan visited I.C.T to carry out SMT equipments acceptance and receive technical training. The project was led by our experienced engineer Tony, covering a complete SMT production line and DIP production line along with related auxiliary equipment for Computer motherboard manufacturing.
During the training, our technical team provided detailed explanations of equipment principles, operation procedures and maintenance essentials. The customer showed great enthusiasm, actively engaging in discussions and taking careful notes throughout the sessions.
Loader & Unloader: Power and air supply connection, rail and magazine adjustment, and basic software operation.
Solder Paste Printer: Startup/shutdown process, stencil and squeegee installation, solder paste handling, program creation, and cleaning system use.
Solder Paste Mixer: Safe operation, timer settings, and mixing best practices.
Conveyors & Buffer Systems: Rail width/speed adjustment and functional modes for smooth production flow.
SPI (Solder Paste Inspection): Program setup with Gerber or manual input, fiducial mark teaching, and manual verification functions.
Pick and Place Machine: Feeder and nozzle setup, PCB program creation, placement testing, data optimization, and CAD/BOM import for advanced programming.
Reflow Oven & KIC Profiling: Temperature zone setup, conveyor adjustment, thermal profiling, and soldering quality optimization.
AOI (Automated Optical Inspection): Program creation, CAD file import, inspection parameter adjustment, and maintenance procedures.
Wave Soldering Line: Equipment structure, solder pot and flux handling, temperature control, conveyor adjustment, and routine maintenance.
BGA Rework Station: Software operation, profile setup, infrared alignment, and rework practice.
Auxiliary Equipment: Dry cabinets, compressors, filters, and SMT consumables usage and maintenance.
One of the key challenges was programming, which initially seemed complex. To support the customer, our engineer demonstrated the process multiple times, provided step-by-step guidance, and encouraged hands-on practice. Through this approach, the customer quickly gained confidence and was able to complete programming tasks efficiently and accurately.
At the end of the training, customer engineers were able to:
Operate and adjust each machine independently.
Create and optimize SMT and DIP programs.
Perform maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Simulate and run complete production processes.
After one week of intensive training, the customer became proficient in operating and maintaining the equipment. The entire acceptance and training program was successfully completed, with the customer expressing strong appreciation for the professionalism and dedication of the I.C.T team. I.C.T engineers verified the learning outcomes and issued training certificates.
I.C.T remains committed to delivering not only advanced SMT solutions but also reliable local service and technical support worldwide.
This program not only helped the customer become familiar with the purchased equipment in advance, but also provided a complete understanding of SMT and DIP production processes. At the same time, it further strengthened the customer relationship and highlighted I.C.T dedication to delivering professional solutions and reliable technical support worldwide.
