The JUKI JM-100 is an Odd Form Component PTH Insertion Machine designed for advanced manual insertion automation in DIP and THT production lines. It is built for factories that need faster insertion, stable quality, and stronger line control for mixed through-hole components. The machine uses a new Takumi head with 8 nozzles, allowing more parts to be picked in each cycle and reducing total cycle time. It supports component sizes from 0603 to □50 mm, component height up to 30 mm, PCB weight up to 4 kg, and board sizes up to 800×360 mm. With laser recognition, 3D image recognition, active clinching, and flexible feeding, JM-100 helps improve productivity and insertion consistency.
| Product Features
The JUKI JM-100 uses a new Takumi head with 8 nozzles, which is a major upgrade for high-speed odd-form insertion. Compared with older designs using fewer nozzles, the machine can pick more components in one cycle and reduce overall insertion time. Under JUKI conditions, insertion time can reach 0.6 sec/part for vacuum nozzle applications and 0.8 sec/part for gripper nozzle applications. This makes the odd form insertion machine suitable for production lines that need better output without losing process control. For Customers handling many THT parts, the 8-nozzle design helps reduce waiting time, improve machine utilization, and support more efficient automatic insertion.
JM-100 uses a variable-height laser sensor to support different component heights. The laser height can change automatically according to the part height, which helps reduce unnecessary movement and optimize speed. It can work across multiple height modes, including parts around 16 mm, 20/25 mm, and 30 mm. This is useful for production lines that handle many component types, such as capacitors, coils, connectors, USB parts, DC jacks, pin jacks, and DIP switches. As odd form insertion equipment, JM-100 helps the production team insert small, large, tall, and heavy parts with better control. This feature is especially valuable for mixed THT production where component packages change often.
The JM-100 can use 3D image recognition to measure the bottom side of components with high accuracy. This helps the machine insert odd-shaped parts and multi-pin components that may be difficult to recognize with normal methods. It is useful for parts without clear reflective lead surfaces or with complex lead shapes. The machine also supports an active clinch unit, which can bend leads inward, outward, or into an N shape after insertion. This helps prevent components from lifting during later processes. For Customers using a JUKI odd form insertion machine, these functions improve insertion quality, reduce placement problems, and support more stable soldering results.

| DIP Line Equipment List
I.C.T can integrate the JUKI JM-100 into a full DIP production line based on the Customer’s board size, component list, production speed, process flow, and factory space. Related products include manual insertion lines, automatic insertion machines, odd-form insertion machines, wave soldering machines, selective soldering machines, DIP AOI, soldering robots, PCB conveyors, loaders, unloaders, and repair stations. In a typical THT line, the JM-100 automates components that are slow, difficult, or unstable to insert manually. After insertion, the PCB can move to wave soldering, cooling, AOI inspection, repair, functional testing, and final assembly. I.C.T helps Customers build the full process, not just buy one machine.

| Customer Success Video
I.C.T supported a Customer in Uzbekistan to build a large electronics manufacturing factory for computer motherboards, SSD products, and memory-related products. The project included both SMT and DIP production lines. The SMT line used stencil printing, SMT placement, reflow soldering, SPI, AOI, and PCB handling systems. The DIP line included a manual insertion line, JUKI odd-form insertion machine, wave soldering machine, and conveyor systems. I.C.T engineers supported early planning, machine installation, line connection, debugging, production testing, and operator training. After testing, the Customer gave positive feedback on I.C.T’s service response, equipment quality, packaging protection, and technical support during production start-up.
| Comprehensive Service Support
I.C.T supports Customers from project planning to stable production. Before delivery, our team checks the machine configuration, feeder plan, PCB flow direction, electrical requirements, air supply, packaging condition, and full DIP line matching. During onsite support, I.C.T engineers help connect the Odd Form Component PTH Insertion Machine with upstream and downstream equipment, including insertion lines, conveyors, wave soldering machines, AOI, and repair stations. Training covers machine operation, feeder setup, program preparation, component changeover, laser recognition checking, 3D image recognition use, clinch unit checking, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting. This support helps Customers reduce setup mistakes and start real production faster.
