I.C.T has successfully delivered a complete SMT production line to a customer in Europe, supporting their drone manufacturing business.
In March 2026, I.C.T dispatched experienced engineers to the customer’s factory to provide on-site installation, commissioning, and technical training. The goal was simple: help the customer bring the new SMT line into stable production as quickly and smoothly as possible.
This project is another example of I.C.T’s ability to combine equipment delivery with hands-on technical support, ensuring customers can move from installation to mass production without unnecessary delays.
The customer is a European manufacturer focused on drone-related electronic products. Their production requires high precision, stable soldering quality, and efficient throughput, especially for complex PCBA used in flight control systems.
Based on the customer’s product requirements and production goals, I.C.T provided a customized SMT line solution. The main configuration included:
This setup ensures a complete and balanced SMT process, from solder paste printing to final inspection, helping the customer achieve consistent product quality and production efficiency.
After arriving at the customer’s factory, I.C.T engineers followed a structured service process to ensure everything was executed correctly and efficiently.
First, the team conducted a full inspection of the equipment and installation environment, including power supply, air pressure, and layout conditions. This step helped avoid potential issues before machine setup began.
Next, the engineers carried out mechanical installation and system connection for each machine in the SMT line. Every unit was aligned, leveled, and connected according to production requirements.
Once installation was complete, the team moved on to machine commissioning. This included parameter setup, system calibration, and test runs to verify that each process—printing, placement, reflow, and inspection—was working as expected.
During this stage, engineers also optimized process parameters based on the customer’s actual PCB products, ensuring better soldering quality and yield from the beginning.
In parallel with commissioning, I.C.T engineers provided hands-on training for the customer’s technical team.

Basic maintenance and troubleshooting
SMT process knowledge and quality control
Programming and production setup
Instead of only giving theoretical explanations, the training was conducted directly on the production line. This “learn by doing” approach helped the customer’s engineers quickly understand how to operate and manage the equipment independently.
The goal was not just to install machines, but to help the customer build their own capable production team.
With close cooperation between both teams, the SMT production line was successfully installed, tested, and put into operation.
By the end of the project, the customer’s team was able to run the line independently, handle basic maintenance, and manage daily production tasks with confidence.
