At I.C.T, a complete SMT line often travels thousands of kilometers before it reaches a customer's factory. That is why packaging is treated as part of the product itself, not an afterthought. Recently, another batch of SMT equipment left our facility in export-grade large wooden crates — the result of several rounds of upgrades and improvements to our packing standards.
The truth is, we did not get here overnight. Even with strong crates, a few shipments in the past still suffered from violent transportation: deformed panels, loose screws found inside the case upon arrival. Instead of accepting this as "normal shipping risk," we turned every case into engineering feedback. Over the years, we have repeatedly upgraded and refined our wooden crate specifications — thicker boards, reinforced corners, internal bracing, and clearer handling marks — so the crate can withstand far rougher journeys. Today, customers frequently send us positive feedback on the quality of our wooden crates, confirming that the improvements are working.
What has never changed is the multi-layer packing inside. Every machine follows the same strict routine: first a protective film wrap, then high-density foam cushioning, followed by multiple fixing points to lock the equipment firmly in place, another film wrap, and finally vacuum sealing to keep out moisture and dust during long ocean freight. Layer by layer, the equipment stays stable and dry from our warehouse to your production floor.
Packaging is the first impression of an SMT line, long before the machines are powered on. With continuously improved wooden crates and a proven multi-layer packing process, I.C.T makes sure every SMT line arrives the way it left our factory — intact, secure, and ready for installation.
