In September 2025, I.C.T engineer traveled to the Philippines to provide on-site installation and training services for a new customer. The customer, a leading office equipment manufacturer producing products such as EPSON printers, recently introduced the I.C.T-460 Inline Laser Marking Machine into their production line.
This project is part of I.C.T global support customers worldwide with complete SMT line solutions and local technical support, ensuring that every investment delivers long-term value.
Upon arrival at the Manila factory, I.C.T’s engineer carefully inspected the I.C.T-460 machine, confirming that both the exterior and interior components were in perfect condition. This preparation ensured a smooth and safe installation process.
The installation process included:
Precision setup of X, Y, Z axes and flip axis
Adjustment of infeed and outfeed conveyors
Alignment of the laser head for accurate marking
By the end of the day, the machine’s full motion control system was running smoothly.
The engineer then upgraded the control software and successfully connected the machine to the customer’s MES system. This enabled automated serial number management and real-time data tracking, improving efficiency and product traceability.
The JCZ software was also configured to meet production requirements, including QR codes, logos, and product IDs.
Hands-on training sessions were conducted, covering:
Machine operation
Program editing and marking design
Preventive maintenance
Troubleshooting techniques
The customer’s engineers quickly mastered the system and were able to operate independently.
After several production tests, the machine performed flawlessly. Marking quality was consistent, and the MES integration ensured seamless traceability. The customer signed off with full satisfaction.
